I said I wanted to go to Awaji Island and it came through. It took us a long time to get there. I don’t have many friends and I don’t usually have enough plans to turn down Sato’s invitation. If it were me, I would be jealous if Sato asked me out to dinner with a friend of the opposite sex, but he told me to go. I guess he trusts me. I want to fix my habit of complaining about the share house in front of Sato. I think he doesn’t feel good about talking about negative things. But I put priority on wanting to vent and wanting to be heard, and I think I’m being a child in this way.
First, I went to the Highway Oasis. We took pictures together at a terrace-like place.
Next, we went for a kaisendon (a bowl of rice topped with seafood), but it was too late in the day and they were out of stock. We had no choice but to head to the whirlpools to look for lunch, where we found an Awaji Island burger. Blue Seal was next door, and although Blue Seal was too crowded in Suma, it was very empty. The burger was delicious with onions and beef, but I didn’t like it because it was hard to eat. I will never eat a burger on a date again.
After arriving at the whirlpool, we took a boat right after the whirlpool. It was windy and we were stuck inside the boat the whole way. I thought there was one big whirlpool, but there were many, many whirlpools, and then they disappeared. The strong winds made it look like a tidal wave, so it was even more powerful and fun, like an attraction. It was nice to see the Onaruto Bridge closer than before.
On the way back, we stayed inside and relaxed. When we arrived, we drank hot onion soup and bought some souvenirs. I tried to extend my car share, but it was stuck behind me and I had to go back to return it. I was concentrating on driving, and I thought I was driving carefully and in a hurry, but he told me I was driving too fast and it was scary. He encouraged me to get back on the road in time. He was so kind.
As a result, I made it in time. I couldn’t bring him to the share house in the end, but he said we could go to a family restaurant. There were out of chicken, so we shared jambalaya, pizza, salad, and pistachio parfait. Before that, we exchanged gifts. I was nervous. I’m glad we can have matching hoodies. I wish we could have chosen together, but I decided on my own. I’m sure he’s wondering what my opinion is.
I received a lovely cake, chocolates, and bath bomb set. I’m a little sad that all of them are not real. I want to use the bath bombs so much that I can take a bath with him.
