I was looking forward to it all week at work. I took the bullet train, but my senior teacher said it would have been cheaper if I had taken the Kintetsu “Hinotori” express. I checked and found that it was cheaper, but took longer time than twice as long. We met up on the bullet train and happened to be in Kyoto~Shiga~Gifu after a snowfall, so the scenery was super beautiful and otherworldly. I was able to ask him about Nagaokakyo, which was a bit of a blur. It’s a small thing, but I want to get to know Sato’s various things little by little.
We held hands all the way on the bullet train. When we arrived at Nagoya station, we had to change trains, which would have been confusing if it was first time. We took the subway, Meitetsu-Kintetsu, and JR lines, and the station was much bigger than we expected, so we had a hard time finding our way around. We arrived at the hotel at Hisaya street, dropped off our luggage, and headed for Nagoya Castle. I had my picture taken next to a life-size gold orca. We didn’t get to go inside the castle, but we did see the Honmaru Goten. It was too cold to walk on the wooden planks wearing only socks. It was beautiful and gilded. I wondered if the gold leaf was anything more than 15 cm square, and I noticed the jointed parts. There were always their children near the animals.
There are two zones in Kinshachi Yokocho, one for Muneharu and the other for Yoshinao, and we had miso katsu for lunch. There was a long line, but I was glad I waited because it was very delicious. I had tofu with salt.
After lunch, we went to the Nagoya Port Aquarium. I saw a live orca for the first time in my life. It was cold, so I wanted to watch the dolphin show inside and Sato wanted to watch it outside, so he ended up giving it to me. I was amazed at the whale’s old mammal-like appearance. They look like fish now, but there was an evolutionary process. The sardine tornado was so beautiful. It was just a meal time, but the combination of light and music made it a work of art. I had to wait until the lights came up, so I went around the same parts of the aquarium several times.
We saw the TV tower. It was lit up with the lights of the castle and it never changed. It was beautiful. It reminded me of Hokkaido trip. For dinner, we had Hitsumabushi at Ibashou in Sakae. It was delicious. I got to see a lot of Sato because we were facing each other. I like to be side by side, but I understand what Sato is saying(he likes facing). Carp were swimming in the small garden inside the restaurant.
I was really looking forward to going to the lounge with a night view, but I was surprised when Sato asked me if he wanted to stop going and go back to the hotel. I was looking forward to it and was as surprised as if he had asked me to stop going to the Nagoya Port Aquarium. The building was directly connected to the station, the guests and the hotel were all very upscale, and he seemed nervous. I was worried about him because he was fidgety, but he didn’t tell me at the time, and I was very nervous because I didn’t know why he was so different from usual. When we were shown to our seats, the night view was beautiful, but I couldn’t really enjoy it because I felt a bit bewildered.
After returning from the lounge and taking a break at the hotel, we went to Gomi Tori for chicken wings. It was across the street from Ibashou, but it was so close to the hotel that my sense of geography was off. I heard that people feel more at home in a tavern. The lounge was totally different from the tavern. He said that he likes a tavern more than a lounge. While eating Nagoya Cochin, we talked about our first phone call.
He told me to remember that he didn’t like long meaningless phone calls.
I think I was just complaining about work without thinking too much about it. That made me think that he was doing his best in the beginning. I am blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life. The chicken wings were delicious but difficult to eat.
When we returned to the hotel, I took a hot spring bath to warm myself. There was no one in the open-air bath, so I was able to relax and unwind. The sex was a little uncomfortable because Sato was messy and I couldn’t keep up with him. I woke up many times in the middle of the night because I was nervous about having my favorite person next to me. Sato was not nervous at all. If anything, he hit me a few times because he was a bad sleeper.
When we woke up in the morning and asked him to have sex with me again, he refused, saying he would see me next week. But he did. I gave up because it hurt too much again. Is there something wrong with me? I don’t know, but I think I’m about to get sick of the trauma.
We went to three morning restaurants, but they were all crowded, so we gave up and decided to walk around Osu. I walked around the area for a good part of the morning. When we entered the shopping street, I found an Alice store with Alice’s goods and sweets. It was cute.
We ate a good amount of food at a coffee shop with a bulldog that looked like it could be a morning meal, but I should have eaten half a piece of Ogura Toast thinking that I could eat and walk around later. I ate a lot of food while walking around. Fried chicken, rolled ice cream, pizza, crepes, croquettes, and so on. It was the most enjoyable part of the trip.
I went to Takashimaya(department store) to buy some souvenirs before the bullet train back home. I’d like to buy some “Depart cosmetics”, but I only wear makeup on weekends, and I think I can live for another 30 years with the cosmetics I have now, so I hesitate to buy any. There are trends and such.
On the bullet train, we talked about next week. I thought he was going to give me a Christmas present, hand cream, and some really good sweets. I’m not sure if he’ll like the gifts I picked out, but I had fun picking them out and I’m looking forward to giving them to him.
I’m glad I went on the trip. We spent a lot of time together and saw a lot of different places, which made me like him even more.
